Have you snuck up many Welsh flags around town?
In rugby terms, I think that reselecting Lecornu is the equivalent of holding the ball up over your own try line. You didn’t concede a try, but you’re going to have to kick possession away again in a moment.
Yeah same, has started to usurp Spidey to some extent here but again the songs are decent so again no complaints
‘Super hero on the beat’ is a classic. Good lyrics
The broader Spidey playlist is on a lot at our place/in the car at the moment and I genuinely don’t mind it. Some catchy songs. Take the small wins wherever you can find them I guess
Plea for help: can anyone direct me to any published and/or online *primary* sources regarding the Reorganized National Government of China/The Wang Jingwei Regime that are, ideally, in English and would make good talking points for final year UG students on themes of occupation/collaboration? 🗃️
Success! Avoided spoiling the result *and* got the desired result!

Right, current challenge: stay off the web for the next 3-4 hours or so to avoid giving away the rugby result, so I can watch the recorded World Cup final after the kids are asleep.

Living the dream. ish.

Lots of it is very good but I’m not sure I could bring myself to eat Casu martzu.

I was more just curious why the lines appear to converge there
Does this map centre on Sardinia? Does that mean Sardinian food is in every category?

Haha! Also have you written a book on ‘American military policy’?
How’d you manage to land a ‘paid grifter’ role?

Asking for a friend
I refer you to a previous post of mine some time back about cheese shortages in Sicily in 1940…
Just excellent.

Minor quibble that they didn’t actually launch many during the war, of course.

Did they ever do a sequel about villainous Grandma Swag?
I haven’t read it in a long time but David Reynolds wrote that article back in the 90s that called the FoF the ‘Fulcrum of the Twentieth Century’, linking the global wartime and postwar impacts with some counterfactual discussion. Although I do remember thinking the argument was too Euro-centric
