Other mythology creatures such as Skinwalkers, Tah-tah-kle’-ah, The Qalupalik, The Skadegamutc, and so on, can be used as enemies/bosses to express the themes as well! Sorry, my hype for Silent Hill F really got me big-braining about "What if my culture was expressed in a Silent Hill game?"

The time frame can be set possibly in the colonization era, where tribes fought each other, along with the invasion from settlers. With the right backing from Indigenous historians and those who practice the culture, it can certainly work!

With Silent Hill F being a fresh take on the series and set in Japan, I would love it if they made a game with an indigenous setting. Indigenous mythology, such as The Wendigo, a human-turned monster born from greed, selfishness, or cannibalism, can be used to express the themes of Silent Hill.

i know i still have to play the other huge game titles of this year, but to me, its lookin' like silent hill f is my personal game of the year, might even be the best game in the sh franchise. this is coming from a from-the-beginning sh fan with more than a lifetime's worth of gameplay hours
