Studying animals can be otterly, err utterly adorable! The ManyOtters project connects researchers across the nation to study otters' cognitive abilities. This scientific (and cute) collaboration expands the pool of research participants, enabling more precise conclusions for comparative analysis.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Katya, Seneca Park Zoo's beautiful Amur tiger. For 20 years, Katya inspired and educated our RIT community, as well as millions of visitors from throughout the region. Our hearts go out to our zoo family and all of her wonderful caretakers.

RIT's new 750-seat Music Performance Theater got its first test run with musicians from RIT and Rochester Philharmonic Orchestras. The venue, which broke ground in September 2023, will debut with an opening night performance on April 10.
