As someone who is terminally online and touch grass a lot at the same time, I really wish the academic world to "go outside" to see how the world is still transphobic even in the so-called "LGBT Haven" like Thailand.

It's no wonder that educational institutions have become a rich man's toy. It stands pretty much irrelevant to the society and doesn't actually produce anything intellegent. I dare to say I have learn valuable lessons from sex workers a lot more than highly educated people.

Thai feminism has always failed trans woman because of their paradigm; deeming trans woman issues as solely and seperately "LGBTQ+ issues" and never women issues, despite that transmisogyny and misogyny are more overlapped than seperated from each other.

During this dire time for trans and gender diverse ppl, I am if gender study in academic actually fails us this years long. I read the "feminist study" in 2006 and it's one of the most vile transphobia I had read.
Or maybe the academia is actually irrevelant, out-of-touch institution right now.
