Many theme park tropes can trace their origin to Disneyland, I'd argue that "exit through the gift shop" isn't one of them! Especially given that "it's a small world"s gift shop didnt open until 1992.

The biggest of many heartfelt moments came at very end of the Richard Sherman tribute concert, when his son came out to thank everyone. He mentioned in Richard’s final year, he wrote an additional verse to “it’s a small world”. I just noticed those lyrics are written on the back of the program. 😭
