We don't love having to counterprogram against a fake shopping holiday that lines billionaire pockets, but here we are!

Remember kids, A**zon pays media to promote their sale, and whatever you're shopping for is often available from the manufacturer or other sellers at a similar price.

Well, it’s not clear if our tariff rate will be 174% or *merely* 104%.

It IS clear that we are facing one hell of a penalty because of the fact that we went to the world’s most capable market when trying to supply an affordable transportation option for American consumers.
April 8, 2025 at 8:58 PM
We're all for an abundance of improved bike lanes, bus and rail service!
Even better, these improvements and expansions to the transportation network are competitively cheap to implement.
For “abundance” to improve transportation, supporters must consider the kinds of infrastructure that gets built – not just the quantity.

Without addressing externalities (esp from cars), a supply-side spigot of new construction would be a disaster.

Me, in Bloomberg CityLab 🧵
What Would ‘Transportation Abundance’ Look Like?
Fans of the abundance movement say that adding supply solves big problems in housing and health care. But when it comes to getting around, things get complicated.

The best way to get to work.
February 19, 2025 at 11:19 PM
Keeping prices as low as possible is part of our mission to expand ebike use.
Still, we can't absorb the new 10% tariff on top of existing 25% import duties.
Effective 2/11 we are increasing the price of Alpha II by $100 and Centauri II by $200.

Big News! We're partnering with Pedego, expanding their ebike offerings in more than 150 stores across the USA.
We love their community-centered approach to ebike retail. Many shops offer tours and rentals in addition to sales, helping more folks experience ebikes without purchasing first!
