With Oklahoma City winning the NBA Finals at home in the Paycom Center, I think we should acknowledge that this journey really began in 1992 when voters passed a 1-cent sales tax to revitalize downtown. The arena was just one of several projects. We basically taxed ourselves into prosperity.

Taking advantage of having long-time friend Jim Beaver in OKC to shoot a film I was producing, I took the opportunity to record this podcast. Jim tells of his start as an actor in both NYC & LA and of his roles on many, many TV shows including Justified & Deadwood. Available on all major platforms.

Taking advantage of having long-time friend Jim Beaver in OKC to shoot a film I was producing, I took the opportunity to record this podcast. Jim tells of his start as an actor in both NYC & LA and of his roles on many, many TV shows including Justified & Deadwood. Available on all major platforms.
Billie Thrash came here in the 1970s on a whim and has since graced the stages of many theatre companies as a choreographer, director, and performer. She describes working with Carpenter Square in its inaugural season and choreographing this town's first production of The Rocky Horror Show.

Consider the turmoil President Biden could create if, in the week ahead, he were to resign. That would make Kamala Harris the 47th president, and all of that merchandise MAGA has bought would be obsolete. That would be crying shame!
