SE Water have now reversed their advice, so that it no longer contradicts the Food StandardsAgency.
They now say boiled water SHOULD be cooled before being put in fridge. A bit shambolic really ....

Ideal scenario would be so much bickering en route that Jakob stops the people carrier at somewhere inconvenient, gets out and disappears, taking the only car key.
