Busy migrant skies this morning, with Song Thrushes first, Redpolls, Bramblings, Fieldfares, following.
A Chiffchaff or two in the Magic Tree.
BBC ominously silent about Israeli former Prime Minister Ehud Barak.

Oz. It's like another country!
A weather vane Sparrowhawk clinging to the ridge top roof tiles.
Jupiter & 3 moons still bright, a Tawny Owl hoots. Two Blackbirds silhouetted against the ice blue sky.
Lots of sounds, Wren dominating, but a chacking Fieldfare overhead the 1st to show.
A Redwing, out from the Magic Tree & back into it.
100s of Thrushes, of 4 species piling in, along with Bramblings, Redpolls & Chaffinches. Probably the Fieldfares first to show.

Featuring a Desertas petrel that stunned scientists by chasing a tropical storm (see their incredible chase mapped here!), tiny nightingales that cross the Sahara twice a year, and Bewick's swans that have changed their stopovers and diet
Swaro will probably replace it for free. They did for my bins.
