When this is over, any talk of moving forward without a reckoning of what happened should be shot right down. I remember Ford's pardon of Nixon was roundly praised by the political know-it-alls for decades. It was wrong and set a bad precedent. This time we need Nuremberg justice from the top down.

This has to stop. How about writs of mandamus from federal courts ordering DHS to stop the operations? In the long term, it has to be made clear that there will be consequences for these mass violations of civil rights when the Trump regime is over. No "putting the past behind" without a reckoning.

Until the US gets rid of the Trump regime, the US is effectively a Russian client state. I hope that Ukraine, with the assistance of democratic allies, can keep the Russians at bay until MAGA is gone. Better sooner than later.
