a lot of my experimental traditional artwork was done with IKEA måla markers or dollar store gel pens on Daiso sketchbook paper xD i also love Michael’s artist loft stuff which used to be like $5 for a set of pastels or watercolor (at least when i was in college, idk if it’s gone up since)

Expensive materials will not only not make you a good artist, but if you haven't developed your confidence (or at least a "fuck it, yolo" attitude) you will be too scared of "wasting" your good materials to actually use them and you will never get better.

the quality will probably get eaten but i’ve been inspired recently by revisiting decade+ old speedpaints that i used to watch a kid & wished i knew how to do. i’ve tried in the past but was never happy & hadn’t attempted in a while, but i wanted to take another shot at it :’) for my younger self 💝

unrelated but does anyone know why Mufasa was seemingly reanimated in the Blu Ray version o.o they took away his teeths?
Pixar designed Toy Story to be printed on physical film. The Disney renaissance movies were the same.
Today, it's hard to see them as they were meant to be seen. The versions on streaming and home media aren't quite the same films that ruled the '90s:
