"It never ceases to amaze me that there's this person who travels around and does all these things," she told the New York Times during a 2014 trip to Burundi and back to Gombe.

"And it's me. It doesn't seem like me at all."
(As usual) it's the LABOUR MEMBERS, at least the ridiculous self-absorbed idealogues, that shoot themselves and the Party in the foot. Starmer can, and is (quite cleverly) challenging the populist nationalist demargoguary that dominates our (*American driven*) politics.

The Survation poll for LabourList comes after a separate poll suggested Nigel Farage is on course to be the next prime minister.

Slava Ukraini!
news.sky.com/story/trump-...
Trump wants Ukraine off the table, at any cost. He couldn't care less who dies or how many. Americans have made a stupid ignorant choice and can no longer be trusted, they've blown it. You elect an idiot don't be surprised when you tank your country, and don't complain.
Trump gaffe reveals how central Putin is to his narrative - with Zelenskyy left out in the cold
The US president has ruled out any trilateral meeting including Volodymyr Zelenskyy - for now this is a Trump-Putin power play.

In my prep for LBC📻 on the fab life of Astronaut Jim Lovell RIP, I saw this 🤯 from new NASA Administrator Duffy:
"We wanna get there first and claim that for America"
Does he not know or not care that such an act would be prohibited by the 1967 Outer Space Treaty?🧪🔭

'Totally amateur'

"But, you know, you have to say that American diplomacy in this respect is completely inept. It's totally amateur, and the Americans are up against a very well-honed, very well-seasoned Russian diplomatic machine that knows and can see the weaknesses in its opponents

I wish this were true but it’s not. A substantial number of Americans will believe any goddamned ridiculous facially fraudulent thing the Trumpists tell them, including this. And another large segment will PRETEND they believe it for the sake of power, which is indistinguishable.

This is spot on.
Farage doesn’t want to stop the boats… yet…
They’re his daily ‘Breaking Point’ poster made flesh… His political strength relies on the hatred, prejudice and disinformation he can whip up on beach watch.
Humane solutions scare the hell out of him.

Word of the day is ‘swullocking’, from 19th-century East Anglian dialect: sultry, sweltering, and sudiferous (sweat-inducing).
'...a public falling out...'. Nah, it's like the Twitter buy out (ie no longer a threat) - it's a strategy move, think 2-3 yrs down the line. They've cooked this up between them. Americans: easily played, easily bought - Trump knows it.
