yeah each character has an elemental type and stats and level up movesets and the like

the first game (can't remember if this applies to the PAL release of 1 since it's different) is especially sandboxy, where you're encouraged to build whatever team of freaks and weirdos you want

Have you played the original Inazuma Eleven games or Spectrobes?

They're both interesting takes on the collect-and-battle formula imo

although idk what versions of Inazuma Eleven would be available to you, both in regards to the localisation and the amount of versions of IE1

it's an isekai where the guy is the skeleton demon king and he must stop the heroes by being evil or something, I watched like 10 eps maybe 10 years ago, but Albedo and the andro elves were hot I remember them a bit
