it’s rotten to go through u_u im sorry it’s such a prevalent thing in oc spaces. i think some people just find it easier to make a surface level comment about one’s appearance than to spend a single smidgen more time and energy pay attention to what the artist is trying to say or show about them

i understand this feeling so heavily it SUCKS to go through. in my old friend group i’d spend ages on a piece trying out new methods or something relevant to their lore and the only responses would be objectification/commenting on them being attractive. like. ok. thanks Did You See The Art Though
