Juneteenth, Freedom Day, marks the momentous occasion on June 19th, 1865, when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

There was over 35 people who were accused of witchcraft and interrogated in Paisley, Scotland, and out of the 35, 8 of them were found guilty. Seven were executed on June 10, 1697.
