Carers across Great Britain do an amazing service, caring for loved ones 24/7 with no breaks and no complaints. We are here to give them what most of us take for granted, a little piece of normality.
Read all about it😂
Massive shoutout to Waterstones Stockport - got my own table! Fab support for a local writer. Signed copies of all my books now available and copies of the brand new stranger times newspaper.
It was a delight to attend the 20th birthday party of @BigIssueInvest yesterday on behalf of @RespiteAssociation We're so grateful because BII invested in us to help maximise our impact. I'm still thinking about the power of @johnbirdswords speech this morning the whole event was inspiring.
Genuinely excited to have my copy @caimhmc.bsky.social

Well, not newsagents.
Or hairdressers.
Almost no nail saloons.
Come to think of it - book shops. Really mainly available in book shops.

Happy Birthday TRA, we have been supporting unpaid carers since May 16th 2001, how the time flies. Our services have never been more needed than in these challenging times and we aim to be here whenever a carer needs us for many years to come.

And for others it is quality time with family that is desperately needed, so a free week by the seaside in one of our caravans (at Bridlington and Rhyl or our cottage in Penzance) is truly valued.
For many the chance to attend family gatherings like weddings and funerals would be impossible, for others just the chance to sit quietly and read a book is a tonic.
