😵 I was running Reddit ads all wrong.
How I increased my ad's CTR from 0.3% to 2% with a few simple changes after a call with someone from Reddit. Two important Tumulus reminders. Also, playing more Compile and loving it.

Working on a holiday adventure for Trash to Treasure reminded me of the achievements I put at the end. It's a pretty video game-y touch, but it's kinda fun to devise little tutorial-style minigames and challenges for the characters.

People think being a full-time TTRPG creator is a lot of writing and testing games but it's actually just me sitting in my office trying to relearn how the internet works every 6 months so people can find my books to buy them. Also the email mines.

I've been playtesting a new(ish) game lately and feedback has been...interesting.
I'm shooting for theater of the mind system that recycles some analog mechanics from combat (Tapping cards, spending tokens), and people really seem to balk at anything between free-form roleplay and granular maps.
