Researchers at @torontometsci.bsky.social and iBEST are exploring a promising new approach that uses low-intensity ultrasound waves to activate drug-coated gold nanoparticles inside the human body. The approach boosts drug delivery to tumours while protecting healthy tissue. Read more:
