Miami-Dade is the epicenter of America’s healthcare crisis.

More people here rely on the Affordable Care Act than anywhere else in the country — and without extending the healthcare tax credits set to expire, hundreds of thousands will lose coverage and PEOPLE WILL DIE!
Today on #IndigenousPeoplesDay, we honor the rich histories, cultures, and resilience of Indigenous communities.

Let’s celebrate and support the incredible contributions of Indigenous communities today and every day.
Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for. All the living hostages have finally made it home after unimaginable suffering.

They’re no longer in the cruel hands of Hamas and I’m so grateful!

May this be the start of lasting peace and security for both Israel and Palestine.🎗️

THE HEALTH CARE CRISIS IS HERE!

With Congress failing to renew the health care tax credits, premiums will skyrocket, and people will lose coverage.

Notices are going out now, and every day of delay means more people go uninsured. Congress must act now!
Miami-Dade has the most to lose if Congress fails to extend the expiring health care tax credits. South Florida has 4 of the TOP 5 DISTRICTS NATIONWIDE in Affordable Care Act enrollment.

If Congress doesn’t act, people lose coverage. We must renew these tax credits NOW!
October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Detecting breast cancer early is possible with routine screening. So make sure to set a reminder to schedule your annual mammogram.

Democrats came to Washington today ready to avert a shutdown, but Republicans are out of town.

Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House. This is a Trump shutdown!

They rather shutdown the government than protect the American people’s healthcare. SHAME!
Republicans control every branch of government: the House, the Senate, the White House, and the Supreme Court.

President Trump had an opportunity to avert this shutdown, but he chose not to. This is a Trump shutdown! End of story.

Millions of Floridians will lose healthcare if Congress fails to renew expiring healthcare tax credits.

Instead of protecting coverage, Republicans would rather shut down the government.

This is unacceptable and Americans will pay the price.
I voted ‘no’ on the Republicans’ partisan budget plan because it’s outrageous for Republicans to kick millions off their healthcare.

Their budget is designed to force a shutdown and blame Democrats, but we’ll protect healthcare and are ready to negotiate to keep government open.
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! South Florida is fortunate to have a vibrant Hispanic community.

Diversity is our strength, and both South Florida and our nation would not be the same without the invaluable contributions of Hispanics.

¡Feliz Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana!
For nearly 80 years, The Links, Incorporated has uplifted our communities. This weekend, that legacy was honored with the naming of a street as “The Links, Incorporated Way.”

As a proud member, I was honored to witness this historic moment in Miami Gardens.
Republicans called a hearing on antisemitism to attack Democrats, yet they are the ones pushing Christianity in classrooms, making Jewish children question whether there is a place for them in their school.

What’s more antisemitic than that? The hypocrisy!
