Sec. Hegseth is creating unnecessary barriers between Congress and the Army Corps, making it harder to get basic updates on critical infrastructure projects.

I’m introducing legislation with @repglatimer.bsky.social to ensure Congress is no longer left in the dark.

Proud to have delivered over $18 million in federal funding for projects across the Bronx, from NYCHA repairs and safer housing to new waterlines, school upgrades, and free internet access for families.

Real investments. Real results for the Bronx.

Big news for Riverdale!

After the closure of the old Key Food left families without a walkable grocery option, we worked with local partners to keep a full-service supermarket at Skyview Shopping Center.

BESSENT: Do you realize we use the leverage to bring down tariffs on other countries?

T: Tariffs on bananas give you leverage?

Liam Ramos is a five-year-old boy who was detained by Kristi Noem’s ICE.

He returned home this week thanks to the advocacy of the American people and House Democrats.

Trump and Noem are going after children. It’s dangerous. It’s cruel. And it’s just plain inhumane.

ICE is wreaking havoc on American streets and causing needless further bloodshed. This must stop NOW.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. believed change was possible when ordinary people refused to accept injustice as normal. On MLK Day, we reflect on his legacy and recommit to the ongoing work of racial justice and equal opportunity.

Trump claims fairness, yet he just pardoned Former Puerto Rico Governor Wanda Vázquez, her allies, and a banker whose daughter donated millions to his super PAC while he faced corruption charges. Justice shouldn't reward the well-connected.

Pardoning Puerto Rico Former Governor Wanda Vázquez who pleaded guilty undermines accountability and reinforces a troubling double standard. When powerful figures get a pass, public trust in the justice system erodes. Accountability should apply to everyone.

ACA open enrollment ends today.

Families shouldn't have to choose between health care and paying the bills. Senate Republicans are blocking solutions.

Democrats will keep fighting to protect coverage and lower costs.

On Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, we honor a man who demanded that America live up to its promises. He fought poverty, racism and injustice with courage and moral clarity. Our work is to keep pushing for the fair and equal society he envisioned.

Kristi Noem is using DHS and ICE to target innocent people, violate due process, and endanger the lives of our loved ones and neighbors. She’s blocked congressional oversight, violated public trust, and allowed excessive force. The writing’s on the wall. We must move to impeach.

Cutting off federal funding to sanctuary cities will not make anyone safer. It will hurt places like the Bronx by pulling money from schools, housing, hospitals and first responders that Bronx families rely on. We deserve smart, humane policy, not scapegoating.
