Today we kicked off the 2026 legislative session from greeting Girl Scouts visiting the Capitol to welcoming so many guests on the House Floor. It was a powerful reminder that this building belongs to the people of Pennsylvania and that our work is strongest when everyone is included.

This week, we celebrated the state investments and student achievement at Williams Penn SD.

It was great to visit the Penn Wood Ninth Grade Academy and to have students show us their new lounge.

From celebrating America’s 250th birthday to highlighting PA #1 industry, the Farm Show reminds us how agriculture supports jobs, families, and healthy communities  from rural farms to urban agriculture right here in Harrisburg.
And yes we enjoyed the milkshakes and the famous butter sculpture too.

In 2025, we stood up for PA workers.
While workers in 22 states received raises, PA families were still stuck with a $7.25 minimum wage. House Democrats fought to raise wages and we won’t stop until workers are paid what they deserve.

In 2026, the fight continues.
