Senator Spreitzer and I had the chance to speak with students from Beloit Memorial about our work in the State Capitol. As a BMHS graduate, it’s always fun to talk with current students about state government and hear their perspectives on today’s issues.

I’ve been informed that Jerry Gabrielatos is leaving his role as City Manager. Hiring Jerry was one of the last major decisions I made while on City Council, and I’ve truly appreciated getting to know and work with him in my role as State Representative.

The Packers face the Vikings today, but 106 years ago they lost to the Fairies.

In 1919 the Beloit Fairies shocked the undefeated Green Bay Packers with a 6–0 win, handing Green Bay their only loss of the season.
