Last Campfire
It Takes Two
Eastward
Ibb & Obb
Metroid Prime (remastered)
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Luigi's Mansion 3

This bums me out 🤦

Home Assistant buddies: does anyone have a good android theme that works in light mode/theme but doesn't hide the time?

Created and pushed my first PR to the Home Assistant project.

Though, it's a single line and fixes a teeny tiny UI bug in dark mode.

Making my 222 file pull request a draft. Not looking forward to review those files … (massive eslint change plus upgrading deps and fixing all the things so that it can run like nothing changed)

I swear this is the last time I buy the wrong thing from amazon (I've really managed to get my amazon'ing right down in recent years).

But fuck me, I searched for "18500 battery holder" and I didn't realise that it just slipped in results for 18650 battery holder. Totally. Different. Size.

This should break your heart, make you want to smash things and shout at our utterly disgusting leaders who allow this to happen.

1. AI is coming for everyone's jobs because AGI is right around the corner.
2. AI can't handle a checkout flow so every e-commerce site needs to add a special API just for AI to use.

These two things can't both be true. If 1 is true, why waste time on 2?

How to get all the RSS feeds from @bell.bz's query.

I've put the actual code in the alt text. There's one part of me that says that's accessible, whilst my gut says a screenreader announcing all this code is fairly useless (but then it can be copied?).

The little (hacked) handheld always surprises me. It holds its charge especially well - I've not charged it in 6 months and still boots (which I don't tend to expect from modern hardware).

Just an aging JavaScript developer attempting to learn things (I'm learning, whether I'm succeeding is entirely a flip of a coin, that's super glued to the floor)

Love me some Home Assistant, but I've never had any success, at all, with Music Assistant. On paper it is the perfect product, but my experience is horrible. Often I can't even play the song, then if I skip, it tries to play multiple songs at the same time (as if zipped together) 😔. One day…

Very much enjoyed Song Sung Blue. Properly pulls at the heart strings too.

Me: `tsx script.ts` because apparently tsx just works.

TSX:
node:internal/modules/run_main:122
triggerUncaughtException(

Error: Transform failed with 2 errors:
blah blah blah
name: 'TransformError'
}

Me: deno, please just run this and save me from typescript.

Win.

VS Code added some kind of weird autocomplete to the terminal panel and it's been constantly getting in my way.

Only today did it piss me off enough for me to finally work out how to boot it out of my way.

Who do I know that's going to @beyondtellerrand.com Dusseldorf?

Only because I'm shy AF (yes…) and I prefer to be a Klingon if possible.

TIL the Logi+ MX mouse (thing whatever it's called), allows me to use the horizontal scroller as a button too. I didn't know it was touch sensitive.

I've got it set to "touch hold" to toggle the zoom on a window.

Getting increasingly pissed off with hardware that depends on the cloud to function. This morning my office didn't get heated because the Goolge Nest returned a 503 error, and today my Logi MX mouse doesn't work because a dev SSL cert is out of date.

What. The actual. Fuck.

I've gotta eject.

"Man I Need" by Olivia Dean has been on repeat for the last few days. Love the vibe. Though for the first day I thought she was singing "Suddenly, suddenly" - which I repeated like a chump.

Successfully did the thing I didn't want to do this year: book a follow up dentist appointment (after I had a tooth extracted 2 months ago, there's some bone peeking out).

By some chance, first I got an appointment today, then numbing agent applied, the bone/tooth fragment fell out. Then, cost: £0.
