Just saw the James Gunn version of Superman. It brought tears to my eyes. I can see why they hated this movie so much. Superman was an undocumented alien that fought for those that were at a disadvantage and couldn’t defend their rights. There is nothing more spiritual than giving of yourself.

Just waiting to read to Pre-Schoolers during grandparents week and reflecting that we seem to value a rightwing pundit more than the Sandy Hook Pre-Schoolers.

Accusations are flying, but I wonder what would happen if the assassin is actually sympathizer of the GOP. Just looking at Utah’s demographics that is the likelier bet.

Because there’s a special place in my heart for the Dominican Republic, I know it’s history well. I think the time has come for a MAGA congressman to sponsor a bill to change the name of the national capital to a president on the level of Washington. Anyone has any recommendations?

I am no admirer of John Bolton, but if Trump is attempting to shut down John Bolton, it can only mean that Bolton is right and Trump is wrong.

Reading is the cure for ignorance and conservatives understand keeping people ignorant reduces the opposition to them. This is the goal in attacking the Department of Education.

Doesn’t anyone realize that Superman was an immigrant? America’s superpower is derived from the vibrancy introduced by every generation of newcomers. Trump is the kryptonite sapping America.

Life is a relative exercise and best described as warm beer is always better than no beer.

It’s good to know that nature reclaims everything that once was a creation by man

No greater benefit with traveling than understanding a diversity of people around the world and with that an understanding that different people have different ways of viewing things

Sometimes it’s something like this that promotes serenity in difficult times. Humanities’s best days are yet to come.

Trump is the fire bug a violence. He provokes the violence by calling in the military, and then expects to be praised for “handling” the situation he instigated. His lemmings just eat it up.

Senator Ernst flippant response, claiming everyone dies should have been immediately rebutted by the fact that no one wants to go first.

TACO is an excellent description for Trump. When the chips are down, the bully is always the wimp.

I thank everyone that posts pictures of baby mammals. There are a lot more comforting than seeing Trump’s mug.

Trump fails to realize foreign students pay the full freight at American universities. Hosting foreign students is a soft power. Those are the future leaders from around the world that are predispose disposed to the American way of seeing things, by virtue of living in this country 4 to 8 years.

The comprehensive analysis of the world needs to come down to everything considered positive is attributed to Trump and everything negative is the fault of someone else. Dr. Pangloss would be proud. We need to remember the shape of the nose is evolution needing to accommodate reading glasses.

What can you expect from a societal laziness that allows the growth of companies like Postmates or Uber Eats? Go to a discount grocer and enjoy preparing your own food for a fraction of the cost. This allows for you to address your credit card debt.

Trump creates conflict with Iran in his first term and that reminds me of the fire bug that expects praise for putting out a fire that he started.

Doesn’t anyone see something unseemly with a Middle Eastern country gifting a $200 million plane to the person sitting in the Oval Office? There was a time that the president couldn’t accept the $200 watch.

If we’re to view the world economy as a bus, Trump’s gripe is the excess of countries riding free. Trump shortsightedness drives his failure to realizing that America drives the bus and decides the ultimate destination. The day we are free of him should be a national holiday.

What was the point of Trump wearing a blue suit at the Pope’s funeral? I could think of plenty of reasons, but I don’t want to influence anyone in what they think.

What’s wrong with higher education? College & University view is for profit endeavor rather than investing in society by training future generations. The students carry part of the responsibility by going into fields to maximize income rather than enjoying what you will do for the next forty years.

Upon viewing Trump‘s influence on the economy, I am reminded that any idiot can execute demolition. It takes knowledge to build something. This is reflected in the downward spiral of all the markets.
