i never played legends arceus but i'm enjoying Z-A so far. a little tired of the tutorial phase/ hand-holding/ linear progression atm tho; i try not to get too frustrated but also. i want to explore!! i want to catch furfrou!!!!

pokemon could really benefit from voice-acting, i think.. even if the billion dollar franchise cannot afford VAs in every language (lol), i feel like even something like the animal crossing gibberish would sound better than just nothing 😭

the fastest way to kill motivation is to make your identity depend on the outcome. it's called ego involvement. when failing becomes failing as a person, your brain starts avoiding the whole thing. not because you don't care, but because you care too much.

you don't need lower standards. you need less self-worth tangled up in your goals. the work gets easier when it's not about proving who you are.
