Dionysos in Wisconsin and it’s thus far published sequels are intensely readable and delightful. Excellent worldbuilding and characterization. The whole series is planned and the only discernible fault thus far is that it seems to be limited in number while I need them in numbers far greater.
Ah ok, that is how I made the connection. I rather liked the literary connection; classics are for everyone. Sad that this does not appear the case and it was just a red herring.
In my head the claw-foot tub is now just empty next to the bed. Occasionally wanting to stretch it legs, but choosing to not make a sound while wondering if it is wanted or not and when it can politely excuse itself.
I find it more odd that there are people who know who Lewis Hamilton is and do not know that he often makes the news for his fashion choices. It is part of his public profile that is hard to miss.
I think the view “not everything is hopeless bullshit” should be encouraged, especially after reading Adorno as he takes me in the other direction with ideas about culture production I can see at work in the world without trying. But you are right, it can’t hold universal. Positive thinking there!
Pravda was not a newspaper, but the official bulletin of the party and established by Lenin. TAFF as such copied a lot of Pravda, which as a party organ spoke for the party. TAFF gathered news from other sources and spread it inside and outside the party. But Pravda spoke for the party.
