In my younger years I was a "Hah! A fat book with tiny print! Jolly good!" kind of nerd, and even I skipped about 500 pages of book 3. ("Still in that swamp? Oh god. Let's skip another 50 pages")
Finnnally dipped back into draft #4, with yet another rewrite of the first chapter. Let's pretend it's Much Better Now, move on, and try to keep the momentum going.
Seeing the grotesqueries of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane at the QFT on the big screen was a treat, yesterday evening! And so was the hilarious drag act beforehand, mercilessly lampooning the film.
I love your garden! And so thoughtful for the birds!... I've just ordered a new feeding station as the old one was beyond repair. I usually have a small group of smaller birds of different kind who've formed a flock -'family you choose' etc.
