ISAs – full £20,000 allowance will be maintained, but for savers under 65, £8,000 of that allowance will be earmarked for investment. Looks like bid to raise funds for investment in UK, along with pension reforms.

“Salary sacrifice has long been one of the most efficient ways for workers to boost pension contributions.” It has in a very odd way and not without problems for low paid workers. A £2000 cap shouldn’t impact many of those who need to boost contributions. www.heraldscotland.com/news/2565070...
