Not nearly as visually inventive as the previous, which was to be expected with a different director and cinematographer, but it’s honestly really solid. Works well in the context of being the middle point in a trilogy. Could’ve been even longer tbh

Finished reading this the other day and loved it a whole lot. Felt like a 90s Gregg Araki movie mixed with Boogiepop and some other shit. Parts of it felt like Dennis Cooper’s Blair Witch Project. Felt my soul sucked out by the end.
