I wish someone would point out that the GOP has the 50 votes to pass the bill w/o 1 Dem by suspending the Filibuster. They've done it before. ('17/'19) But then they'd OWN it, & the terrible fallout for ~90% of Ams who don't have 8 zeros to the left of the decimal point on their asset sheet.

I learned a new word today: "latibulate." It's a 17th century verb that means " to hide oneself in a corner to escape reality or until the situation improves.." My Mom, the 3rd grade teacher would say "Now use it in a sentence." So: Mom, I want to latibulate until the 2026 election...at a minimum.

Someone needs to remind Pete Hegseth that no one would ever refer to "Stormin'" Norman Schwarzkopf or Gen. Leslie Gates as "trim"-but the first won Gulf War 1 & the second built the Pentagon & ran the Manhatten Project-both in record times.

Only take-away that matters from Trump's "speech:" The active duty American miitary should prepare to wage war on (Blue) American cities...Posse Comitatus, rules of engagement, Law of Armed Conflict, and 250 years of tradition be damned.

Not a lawyer here, but even I know that the correct phrasing is "the DoJ will SEEK to indict Jim Comey....." What is the matter with "reporters" these days???

Boycott ABC. Because a news organization of all institutions should know that the best part of the 1st Amendment is that is protects speech that we don’t like---But occasionally we just might learn something from that view point.

The SC has agreed to a "speedy review" of the tariffs case....anyone wanna bet how THAT ruling is going to go? If they are TRUE "originalists," vs. Trump..... but I'm not holding my breath.....

Has anyone noticed that the SC just undid the 14th, 4th, & 1st Amendments w/ its approval of arbitrary searches/seizures based on race, language, & guestimates about the person's social class??? Epstein book is important, but so is the CONSTITUTION. Any bets on when separate but equal returns????

HEY MSNBC! I absolutely agree that te Epstein birthday book is newsworthy BUT did you happen to notice that there were 2 major SC rulings this morning----One of which okays racial profiling????? You might get around to mentioning that.....

I think any of we really white folks should greet every LE/NG person we pass in Spanish! Ask them how their day is going...in Spanish!! Let's see if they stop us and demand our papers!!

The same SC that ruled u can't use race in college admissions just decreed police CAN use race 2 arbitrarily detain peeps/ raid sites. There's no written opinion bcuz there's no logic--except for "we're the SC & can ignore originalism when it doesn't suit us/we're in the mood to destroy democracy."
