i cockily agreed to assist a choir this week by supporting their Xmas carol service tomorrow playing accompaniment on guitar. jeepers. i now realise a) i do not know carols half as well as i presumed b) the chords are really tricky on some of the songs. i do hope it’s not a tough crowd!

although quite interesting, #SpotifyWrapped is a bit of a ruse. i notice it kept adding Simple Minds songs onto my playlists - but aside from one great song, i think SM are a bit shit and very pompous. but i can’t avoid them if Spotify have decided i should like them! anyway…

i found out about the passing of Billy Bonds on the way to the match and spent most of the game bewildered and upset. he was my first West Ham captain and represented everything that was good about football before money strangled the soul out the game. hardworking, loyal, humble, kind #RIPBillyBonds
