In Notes From Casting sessions, you'll record a mock audition and send it in. That audition is played in the session and the director will weigh in with their thoughts.

Then, the director will work with you to bring that performance closer to what they would have liked to hear.

This industry is filled with stories of "I was unhappy in my adult life/work and now that I'm a voice actor (or other creative craft/field), I'm much happier."

And I'm quite certain that those folks longed for PLAY. That it had degraded over time, as "adulting" took over.

It's called "holding the mirror up to the audience."

Various truths about us - people, human, societies - are reflected back to the audience as they watch/listen/play the video game.

Stories are a powerful medium, capable of inspiring reflection, teaching principles, and advancing understanding.

For as long as shows and films are created globally, there will always exist a need for dubbing. In numerous languages.

As a voice actor, the ability to dub efficiently becomes an important one.

A large joy I receive from directing/coaching is when the actor ✨gets✨ it. The lightbulb illuminates.

And (concisely) leading the actor to that first-person realization/understanding deep inside their self-awareness, and having them feel the honesty of their own words, is just so much fun. 😍😆
