His best friend was an Islamic man and his old teller friend. We are super white people too in my family. Irish German on my dad's side, so its interesting his best friend was middle Eastern.

Foster care is hit or miss. My boss adopted a teen boy recently through foster care and is fighting for his right to keep him, because he sees the kid as his own son. But you also hear "oh a free 400 a month. Yeah ill take a kid" its the same thing its a crap shoot.

Like my experience was a racist bigoted banker father who was liberal in the way of dont fuck with me and I wont with you. And a mom who was originally a hippie in the 70s and became a chill liberal ace grandma type who went to the no kings rally today. So vastly different people.

I mean its different for every person. So there is no definitive way of saying what its like. And everyones experience is valid. I was lucky having a hippy mom who's super liberal. But everyones experiences are different. I know I have issues with my mother in law.
