been using browser YouTube on phone and it has consistently bothered me how basic features have been stripped out to force you to use the app. it started maxing out at 720p now instead of 1080p, and it has no captions in full-screen mode, no picture-in-picture, and apparently no disabling Auto-Dub.

I just read Act I of Waiting for Godot. It’s weirdly prophetic. The characters seem to lack attention spans because they speak in short sentences and repeatedly forget what they were saying, and the one character said to be able to “think” at length and inspire others just regurgitates AI-like text.

this was worded confusingly in the patch notes but once I figured out what they meant I got very excited because I’ve been wanting to unlock the rest of the new racers but couldn’t find the motivation to grind the Kamek Orb RNG for hours.
So here’s a nice change in the new Mario Kart World update, capturing an enemy with a UFO will transform you into that enemy, and by extension unlock them.
UFO’s are also more common in free roam as well.

I just put up a fake “for sale” listing for spell-casting equipment I don’t actually own because I want a bunch of cool wizards and sorceresses to show up at my address.

if the Hidden World from Sonic Lost World can be put in Crossworlds, then I want Nintendo to put World 9 from The Lost Levels in Mario Kart. specifically the NES version of World 9, the All-Stars version is lame.

still playing Bananza. it’s interesting how video games can really teach you about yourself and what motivates you. for me, I’m realizing that I feel more motivated when I have smaller rewards to look forward to throughout a larger task. in Bananza, that’s skill points and new transformations.
