Last time I read the name "God Empress of Mankind" it was in a 40K game about Inquistors weirdly enough but yeah the hate for Veilguard is weird and forced as hell especially considering the crap that the team behind the game went through from EA who wanted a live service title instead.

Considering that there's people who believe the mudflood "theory", Planet X, the world beyond the artic wall, Qanon, the jetfuel "hoax" which claims that airplanes have perpetual motion engines so the fuel is just for ticket prices and so much more, its kinda not surprising to me sadly.

International politics is a mess if your not from that country, its fine. I couldn't tell you the first thing about the politics in Brazil following them leaving Portugul for example which happened in 1822 interestingly enough.

Being against Immigration in Ireland is insane too. We're the country whose people emmigrated constantly from colonisation reasons to economic ones and even now with housing problem. Its literally our history but its easier to hate than to feel powerless when you could help I guess.

Honestly I really like this change because when I was playing the game originally (the psp version because Balthair was in it) I always found it odd how characters like Agrias would were in the story a lot would suddenly just stop talking. I liked Agrias and this does feel like something she'd say.

When replaying FFT be sure to bring the story characters along, even after in the older version their dialogue ran out... because for this version they wrote a *ton* of new content.

Agrias giving Gaffgarrion a lecture on equality, for example.

I think part of this may be the DC crossover thing thats happening too which even as someone who has a limited interest in DC is really cool especially considering the whole "AEW is a t-shirt company thing." Also it includes Willow, Swerve and Hangman is its kinda perfect already but I'm biased.
