I'm in the area. I can't stress enough how awful it's been. Thermal snow pants, snow boots, gloves, coat, I can barely handle being outside.
1st a foot of snow & then MORE, few inches every few days. The entire situation is gross cruelty on a large scale & the tenants deserve restitution/justice.

UPDATE — For those who want to help, there’s now a way to donate directly to the 7500 South Shore Tenants Union to help with emergency relocation costs as residents “vacate in one of the snowiest winters in Chicago’s history.”
