In case you missed it. If you use multiple LLMs and want to use AGENTS.md and have Claude Code also reference it, simply put @AGENTS.md in your CLAUDE.md file. This works and is documented by Anthropic: docs.claude.com/en/docs/clau...
AGENTS.md
AGENTS.md is a simple, open format for guiding coding agents. Think of it as a README for agents.

They didn’t close anything up. I think it’s pretty clear they’d like you to use their CoPilot offerings. You current have choice and options, but I could see an enshitification revenue grab happening too.
I wasn’t blown away with any GitHub Universe announcements this year. They’re clearly trying to increase AI revenue. It got me wondering if we could see GitHub becoming less open to 3rd parties in the future than they’ve been in the past.
AI may be overhyped. It may never achieve AGI. Many AI projects will fail. However, if you’re a developer, I’m pleading you to start learning and gaining experience with concepts and tools. I see too many people who are resting on their laurels and not retooling.
I hadn’t heard of “I got an offer” as a service for mock interviews and resume reviews before, but it looks quite cool for folks searching for jobs. I’ve heard good things.
Missing “Sponsored Post” in the title
I’m disappointed that The New Stack doesn’t clearly highlight sponsored articles upfront. I started reading this piece, and it immediately felt like an ad. Only after scrolling to the very bottom did I see the disclosure: “Docker is a sponsor of The New Stack.”
Open Source is broken. Django powers several businesses with combined revenues in the billions, but on its 20th birthday has only reached 25% of its annual 300k fundraising goal.

I created a Frogger-like classic arcade game using AWS Q Develop for the July 2025 AWS Build Games Challenge. With minimal investment, I was able to build a decent classic game. Expect a blog post on this soon. github.com/cebert/antze... #BuildGamesChallenge #AmazonQDevCLI

I have an original Nest thermostat that Google will no longer support starting October. Should I replace it with a fourth-generation replacement (which they offered me a discount on) or consider a different device like Ecobee?
When individuals make claims on resumes, such as reducing costs by 40% or implementing a feature that boosts sales by 250%, do these claims ever get verified? If so, how? Why is this so common?
Has anyone made a MCP service for information about themselves for recruiters / skills demonstration?
I admit it, I am growing increasingly worried about the potential impact of AI on the workforce over the next decade. While I am trying to stay informed about the evolving landscape, I can’t help but be concerned about the jobs that may be displaced by the advancements in AI.
One thing they don’t warn you about having kids is that you’ll never know where your TV remotes are for the rest of your of your life. They manage to vanish everywhere.
Should you list AI tools on your resume or LinkedIn? Are we at that point in AI’s evolution? Some firms like Zappier are only planning to hire AI fluent team members moving forward. I think it may be time.
I live in Michigan. It starts getting light a little before 5:30 AM and gets dark after 9:30 PM this time of year. I wish we had sunlight long all year.
Valkey has great documentation for getting started that explains core features and how to get started. It’s a great pattern to follow if you’re building a developer tool. valkey.io/topics/
