His comment is d disturbing because it's just bolsters the notion that he is detached from reality. It's not performative. It's delusional.
yeah why won't the economy grow by uh *checks notes* 7.6 trillion a year
Trump says he doesn't know why America can't achieve 25 percent annual economic growth

They can come up with actual solutions. They put a premium on "acting in unison" over finding solutions. Nothing the Dems have said. Not a single word, is a solution to fix or improve health care in the short term Including their M4All proposal.

There are steps that can be taken today.
The Dem’s are not in control Mark. They simply want health care to be affordable. The party in control wants no subsidies. What else can the dems do?

If the house swings back, sure do more. Bring the system to work for the people.
I hope the Dems realize that if they extend the ACA subsidies, and take no other steps, they are giving carte blanche to the biggest insurance companies and major hospital systems to find new ways to game the system and increase costs.

something you have to understand about Trump & his weird comments about the economy is that the dude hasn't paid for anything like a normal person in decades - never pumps gas, never buys groceries - so he's completely & utterly out of touch with what life is like for most of us

Understand the trajectory of AI. Of course it will facilitate research and scientific endeavors. But that role is not commercially viable. The real money is in the acceleration of "think saving." Why bother with typing and reading when you can converse.

Trump's reckless tariffs have been crushing farmers.

He found $40 billion to bail out Argentina.

But only $12 billion to help the farmers hurt by his policies.

You deserve better.

The problem is not the pardon power. The problem is us. We weren't supposed to elect a crook as POTUS. If we did, the people we elected in Congress are supposed to do something about it. We're idiots, so we've elected crooks & cowards all the way up the line.

The problem is us. We need to fix us.
Giving the president the pardon power was a mistake. The most corrupt president in American history is conducting a jailbreak for his fellow criminals.

Trump is spoiling to invade Venezuela, flipping the bird to his apostles who voted to end forever wars. To curtail drug smuggling? Tough sell after pardoning Hernandez. Oil? At $57, increasing supply will drive prices down. So drill baby drill? A business and political genius.

It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.

Trump says we need to go after drug cartels.

Meanwhile, he disbanded a DOJ task force that took them on.

And he pardoned a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking.

Trump doesn't care about drugs — he wants to be able to declare war on anyone he labels an enemy.

It's a power grab.

Pardon my skepticism, but the DC shooting doesn't look like a terrorist attack. Low body-count and a living shooter to do not merit martyrdom. Noem's claim of US radicalization seems designed to justify ICE rooting out the terrorist menace. They lie about everything. Occam's Razor.

Trump's accountability can be achieved by impeachment, because you can't get to 67. Prosecution runs into immunity. If we retake the presidency we can join the ICC and give him to them.
