This was a great review! I was tripping balls when I saw it in the theater and had to leave because I thought I was William Hurt. I waited years to see it through and thoroughly enjoyed it (very much not in an altered state). Russell’s a mixed bag but he rarely bores.

Amen, Poetess. They used to be the “Party of the working class”, but have long since been subsumed by the consulting class.

I was in a group discussion this past Saturday and we touched on how out of touch the party is and how lousy it is at mounting any kind of offense.

It really is down to us.

Okay, okay! LAST morning reading to share. In a regime full of shit-weasels, Mike Johnson is doing his best to McConnell Grijalva’s confirmation. He’s a cowardly, smug, Christofascist hypocrite and I want to see Arizona sue him shitless.
