Just got home after proudly attending a local #nokings event!
And, oh yeah, #releasethefiles!
#isthepresapedo?
The ball Reggie hit in Game 6 of the 1978 WS just might have if it had been a bit more to left of the bullpen.
Don’t let the door hit you in the ass, bigot. You sure showed that the future of GOP is no better than the MAGA-infested present.
ENDORSEMENT!
@rbwms.bsky.social proudly endorses @mikiesherrill.bsky.social for NJ Governor!
Mikie has solid experience in Congress and national security that will be assets to NJ.
Her MAGA opponent can’t even stop Trump from cutting the Gateway Tunnel project, key critical infrastructure for NJ.
Umm … well … yeah … hell yeah!

Says DJT is like worst of “most degenerate, inbred English monarchs …Æthelred the Unready … Charles I’s authoritarianism, Edward II’s habit of putting incompetent charlatans in high office, Henry VI’s failing brain, and Henry VIII’s mindlessly aggressive foreign policy.”
Mad King Trump Seizes Your Money
The president is doing almost exactly what Charles I did to touch off the English Civil War.

One of the “kids” who was on one of the message chains, along with his wife, is a STATE LEGISLATOR, for cryin’ out loud, you dumbass, JD. Do your homework, JD. He is Vermont State Senator Sam Douglass. But I suppose you’ll say he’s mature enough to hold office, though, right, JD?

JD?

JD?

He’s already metaphorically stunk things up there. So now he wants to bring his sorry-ass broken-down frame there to stink things up in person? On the bright side, maybe the Court will finally realize everything about him really does stink. Never hurts to hope!
Trump Says He Might Attend Supreme Court Hearing on Tariffs
President Donald Trump said he might go to the Supreme Court to personally watch oral arguments on whether the bulk of his tariffs pass legal muster, in what would be a highly unusual spectacle.

Seems the Narcissist-in-Chief is mad about the Time Mag cover neckgina pic so please don’t share it widely

Thank you for your attention to this matter
Dems need to focus on pocketbook issues and not cultural issues. Rightly or wrongly, too many Americans, especially in red states, are not there on the cultural, but they are winnable on the economic. Focus on fighting oligarchy. And if Dems can’t or won’t, then, yes, I hope others do fill the void.
Gee, maybe the “Big Beautiful Ballroom” won’t get done. #itsalldonsfault
Yup, don’t let the door hit ‘em in the ass on the way out.
I disagree with MTG on much - social/cultural especially - but she’s onto something. Economic populism - $ power to the people - motivated many toward MAGA and, surprise!, Don, JD & the billionaires could care less about helping people. There’s an opening here. Will someone not crazy please take it?

How badly is Dump’s Chicago action perceived? Article cites Gov. Stitt (R-OK) telling NYT: “We believe in the federalist system—that’s states’ rights … Oklahomans would lose their mind if Pritzker in Illinois sent troops down to Oklahoma during the Biden administration.”
Chicago Strikes Back, With an Assist from Republican Governors
A federal judge calls out the Trump administration’s “simply unreliable” portrait of the city, while a group of former governors deconstructs the constitutional threats.

It may be time to add limits on use of Insurrection Act to conditions for ending shutdown. Never any use of funds to support military in any way against a law-abiding peaceful citizenry. Never.

The reality is that attending live sports or live entertainment is rapidly becoming out of reach for the vast majority of Americans. As with big tech and big health, aggressive antitrust enforcement and perhaps structural reform is needed. Capitalism is broken.

Well, dang, OK then on that. I like what James has been doing, but I want a government job where I can afford to own houses in New York and Virginia, both being rather pricey markets. EDVA is NOVA $$$ (where Hell Again likely filed), Richmond $$, and Tidewater $. From expensive to not so cheap.
Among other things, can’t wait to see how the Eastern District of VIRGINIA has jurisdiction in an (bogus) alleged bank fraud case against someone from NEW YORK. What did she even *allegedly* do in Virginia?
