Excited to share our new Nature study on the bowhead whale, a species that can live over 200 years with low cancer rates. We found that bowhead cells repair DNA breaks with striking efficiency, helped by high levels of CIRBP, a RNA/PAR-binding protein that boosts accurate repair.
