My guess on the Venezuelan situation is that it will go the way of the recent U.S. attacks against Iran.
Trump is not going to commit his whole hand on a big decision, because he never does. Maduro on the other hand will take advantage of tensions to consolidate the PSUV in various ways.

In 2024, there was a grand total of 163 journalists assassinated in Mexico since the year 2000 — the onset of the War on Drugs in cooperation with Bush.
It took Israel 24 months to kill at least 255 of them in Gaza.
This was very personally shocking to me. I hope there are consequences.

Professionally speaking, this was one of the most stressful years of my life. The coming one looks challenging, in its own ways - with a lot of high highs and low lows to look up to.

Twitter reminds me so much of the Conquest of the Mexican northern territories.
Some dude pulled the levers to take over and all of a sudden a bunch of people that couldn't leave had to live under a new regime - and things just kinda went on.

Small vent: As much as I am happy with my trans body & I love the changes transition has brought — I can't help feeling far from where I want to be.
I love being a woman but I'm insecure about myself still, though in a very feminine way. That eases my anxiety... a bit.

I think the biggest lesson I learned online is that capitalism can no longer colonise physical space so it's trying to reach into human thoughts and attention now.
Be very selective with what you interact with and reward. Even your anger, if misguided, can be a moneymaker for the MAN.
