Our town of Elgin, Texas added some street art... and started the project the same day our dictator/governor forbade political art on public streets. (Taking aim at rainbow crosswalks.) Who knows how long ours will remain, so Barry took me to see it. #art

My sister found a dog who was apparently abandoned near her home. She has animals and can't afford another one. This girl is sweet and knows how to sit. All of the agencies in San Antonio are at capacity and cannot take her in. It's just tragic out there.

It's amazing how bright it is in this house with the shades open. And it's an old house with lots of windows. And there's lots of space between us and the neighbors.

My recovery bed has been next to a window and that has made a 100% difference.

I understand that the cross is simple and makes a bold statement, but if Jesus comes back and sees all of these crosses everywhere, won't that be a little triggering?

I prefer the dove descending on him when he's baptized.

I'm blown away at how fast recovery is going. I'm not supposed to walk around outside by myself, but I'm using a cane instead of a walker, I'm feeling great. It's the incision area that's the concern. The hip is there and doing it's job.

I also haven't been in a Wal Mart in over 30 years. I do go to Target; I guess I just don't pay attention to that.
