One of them is really named “Joe Maligno”? That can’t be real.
This is what I want. A completely familiar and usable operating system or browser that strips out all the distracting BS I don’t care about.
I hope it was a lesson about trusting AI. If so, it’s brilliant.
I’d fund a game studio to make all my worst ideas, starting with OVERSTOAT — where you play as five weasels in a trenchcoat.
lets say a wizard has cursed you with a lot of money. you are going to become permanently brain damaged simply by being in possession of so much money. the only way out of it is to spend a lot of money on something ridiculous and not at all useful

what would you buy to break the curse?
It LOOKS neat! Looking forward to trying it again later?
And, um ... is Alt-F4 the only way to leave? 😅
This looks cool, but I can't play it with a controller without look inversion 😢

I’m told it’s the best skydiving shooter where you fight dragons with a finger gun ever made!

Utah! Come protest this Saturday! If that seems a little too European, just pretend you're doing a Pioneer trek.
I’m … not? This started as a criticism of modern conservative Christians.

I didn’t know that the Pharisees were seen as foundationally connected to modern Judaism when I started defending my reference to them. But none of this is meant as a defense of Christianity.
This game RULES. If you like community survival games and audacious storytelling craziness.

I apologized elsewhere in this thread as I learned more.

It’s not THAT crazy for members of one religion to not know a lot about the connective tissue between theirs and others’, though. I doubt it’s only a problem for Christians.
It was actually an in-house rumor that turned out to have little basis in fact, and harmed some innocent studios who had us on their resume.
I do think there’s a measure of creative destruction that has to happen for quality of life to improve. Replacing coal with renewables, for instance, changes a lot of jobs.

My problem with AI is that it’s trying to force job losses for a financial fad that delivers no actual improvements.
Nearly ruined my career. I only still have this job because Jeff Strain chose to be understanding.
I’ve just started introducing my daughter to this show, and she’s a big Outside Xbox fan! She’ll HAVE to hear the @icklenellierose.bsky.social episode!
I’m in Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 4, and I’ve got a GUESS about the big reveal people have been referencing, but not spoiling, from Episode 6.

If I’m right, it’s a doozy 😅 … but I’ll also be relieved that I noticed early.
My initial indignant reaction was founded in that — I’ve had so many public conversations about this, with no one even slightly correcting me, that I felt confident there was nothing weird about it.

So the first correction felt like a weird pedantic gotcha, like you so often see online spaces 😅
Your issue is with the writers of the gospels, then, primarily 😅

I’m sorry that Christian discourse has evolved this way, though. I genuinely didn’t know that the Pharisees were considered so foundational, and thought I was casually maligning a long-gone sect no one felt connected to.
I said I was having trouble imaging a normal Christian reading it that way. I’m pretty familiar with normal Christians.

That said, I’ve acknowledged elsewhere in this thread that I’m likely to be wrong here — was just never exposed to this angle, and thought I’d had ample opportunities.
I've been wanting to watch One Battle, and no, I haven't heard of Ugly Stepsister.
Maybe I'll just watch the "I wanted to destroy something beautiful" scene from Fight Club on repeat instead.
‘TRON: ARES’ has earned $14.3M in its opening day at the domestic box office.

For comparison, ‘MORBIUS’ opened to $17.3M.
To be fair, I'm still pissed off about things he did to US six years ago.
I know it's probably important, for political and historical reasons, to listen to videos like this. But I just can't anymore. Not with this guy. Him or Mike Johnson.

I'm acquiring a really harsh reaction to being lied to this way.
