I felt like I knew the characters, and I enjoyed seeing the bond between Samson and Abitha. Plus, that "good for her" climax felt like "Carrie" in its portrayal of total revenge. 5/5, highly recommend it. So glad I made it part of my spooky reading selection this October.

I tried to watch Monster: The Ed Gein Story. But between that goofy voice, way too much deviation from history, and too much melodrama, I just can't take it seriously. So, I'm going to have to stop watching this one. A shame, because I had high hopes for the series.
