Swift is the Goldilocks of programming languages.. I won’t be taking questions at this time.

Claude isn’t doing so great building a 2d SpriteKit game

I just archived and pushed to App Store Connect manually using Xcode. AMA
It's been a while since I setup Fastlane.. is that still state of the art for building and deploying locally?
Xcode Cloud is such a garbage product

Is anyone even interested in a native iOS Bluesky app or is the first party app good enough? I’d say my app is 80% complete. I need to know there is a strong desire before putting in the effort for the last 20% (which is way less fun then the first 80)

Current status: letting Claude agent go to town on a code base in Xcode 26.3. Let’s see how it goes.

With how good Claude Code is, there has never been a better time to have 16 jobs..
February 3, 2026 at 7:26 PM

Day 1 vibe coding an app: Holy crap - I'll be shipping this by the end of the week.

Day 2 vibe coding an app: Hmm.. this might take longer than I thought.

Day 3 vibe coding an app: **Moved on to a new app idea**

All the fighting between OpenCode and Claude / Anthropic really just makes me upset that so many CLI terminal apps are developed with JavaScript 😂 😢

I’ve done a lot of vibe coding over the past 3 months. I think a lot of the code will stick around (although with tech debt I’ll need to clean). It accelerated a few projects I’ve been hacking on but it took all the joy out of coding.

Spend 20 years honing your programming skills for Claude to take your job 😂

What is the status of the “identity system” becoming decentralized?

If I was building an embedded systems flight controller for a drone, why would I not want to use Swift?
Most open source stuff is C/C++ or Rust. But if I’m building everything myself, what are the disadvantages?

Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software.

Just fuck you. Fuck you all.

I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

Hey pals, do any of you have VC connections that you can introduce me to?

When Threads first launched I thought the iOS app had the best UI/UX out of all the Twitter like apps and now it is the worst. Meta really makes the worst apps.
The iOS app is a git fork of the Instagram codebase.

I got an email after hours for a PR review request.
I tried to open the PR in the GitHub iOS app to review.
I can't see it because it is using a different GitHub account so I give up. LOL - great process contract gig
A new contract gig just asked me to create a new GitHub account instead of just using my personal account. Explain to me like I'm 5 why that isn't the stupidest request ever.

You are building an iOS app.
Your minimum build target is iOS 26.2.
You are starting today.
Why do you choose to use UIKit over SwiftUI?

This might be the worst UI I’ve ever seen.

Not everything needs an app and just because there is an app doesn’t mean you have to use it. This is an excellent review by @gruber.foo

If you have an expert web dev build a react site, Claude is really good at turning that code into a decent @expo.dev (React Native) app.
