There is plenty of precedent for breaking MTG's rules for Commander. EDH started as "actually, you have 8 cards in your starting hand", then Partner made it "actually, 9", then Eminence said "actually, you start with an emblem", etc. etc.

Man just put "Your Commander gains 'WUBRG: draw a card'" into the format rules and be done with this color identity charade.

Commander players want to play 5c soup and draw cards. Just let them, who cares anymore.

Players can qualify for this all-Limited event in 2026, with a $500,000 prize pool and Top 8 players getting invites to Worlds!

A summary for the Magic Limited Championship. Event takes place in 2027, with Qualifying events in 2026. The event has a $500,000 prize pool, similar to a Pro Tour. Top 8 players receive an invite to the 2027 World Championship.

How to Qualify:
Top 16 drafters from the 2026 Premier Play Season
World Champion
Limited Championship Qualifiers (LTQs) at RCs, Spotlight Series, Magic Cons, and MTG Arena
Hall of Fame players can use their yearly PT Invite.
