@swradiogram.bsky.social Four favorites from the overnight broadcast on 5850 kHz. All images came through in excellent condition.
It was a lot of fun producing the show and great to be able to share them!

@popshopradio.bsky.social From the 'cold mines' of northern Florida my decode from last night on 5950 kHz.
The Statler Bros. tune sounded like Kingston Trio's "Charlie and the MTA."
I remember a group of students doing "Good Lovin'" at a high school assembly that ROCKED the auditorium in 1967ish.

That's a great layout of the images; pretty neat how it worked out way!

@swradiogram.bsky.social Four images from the broadcast on 9955 kHz as received in northern Florida, USA.
Signal here was very strong. IIRC the digital SNR was not very good.

Artifacts in the images.
My system didn't pick up the RxID to MFSK64 but did get both of the MFSK32 ones.

@swradiogram.bsky.social Looking at my FLDigi waterfall display during the MFSK32 text portion of WRMI's broadcast on 9955 kHz this morning stuck me as odd.
I would think the pattern should be symmetric centered around 1500 Hz.
The 'column' on the left edge doesn't have a match on the right.

Good signal in northern Florida, USA today!

My Sunday MTB ride got postponed. Hope to get out later today...

Thank you for tuning in! Nice to see WRMI's signal makes it up your way! I thought there wouldn't be much signal there.

@swradiogram.bsky.social The next group sent.

@swradiogram.bsky.social A very strong signal from WRMI here in northern Florida, USA didn't stop some images getting shifted around. No multi-tasking on my part, I guess Windoze has other things on its mind.
First four of the thirteen total...

A lot of these early cards were received on a Knight 'Star Roamer,' a kit my dad and I built. I think he'd got a bit of a radio bug from listening to a GE portable we got for marine band monitoring. Later he bought a Drake SW-4A from Lafayette while visiting his mom in NY.

In the '60s a local AM station, WGBS, played jazz in the evening hosted by a DJ named China Valles.
He used "China Gate" by Ramsey Lewis coming out of a commercial break (IIRC) tinyurl.com/5n7pw2bk
FWIU used "Li'l Darlin'" by Count Basie to close out.
Two great pieces of music, one great DJ!

youtu.be/1fzZ4l2H5-w?... Too risqué to get any corporate radio airplay! But Rogers & Hart, c'mon it's wonderful!

Great show!! Rx'ing in northern Florida, USA.
