In Canada, we need something like NEVI, to get chargers installed across the country; accept Euro homologation to get Euro EVs here; and trade tariffs on Chinese EV's for investment. US wants us out of "their" auto-business, so new goal: make transport cheaper, so our economy runs at lower costs.

If the Americans decide to move militarily, this podcast says it´s pretty hopeless. What nobody brought up was nuclear weapons. It´s likely time for Canada to invest in those. We don´t have the size to deter the Americans with anything else.
