It's just a massive shame that the best look we've gotten into the company's inner workings has come from a security breech that involves so much personal employee information. I just want to see concept art and design documents and stuff from them made public more often. They're incredible.

I feel like I'm more endlessly fascinated learning about the design workings of Pokemon's development process than I've been interested in playing the games themselves for a long time. The stuff's all endlessly fascinating, and I just know the games would be incredible given proper time to iterate.

The more time passes, the more I think Capaldi is my favorite Doctor. He just has a certain quality to him that's unmatched.

Also, Heaven Sent may be my favorite episode of television ever made, so have fun with that.

It's funny. I thought Umineko was a bit grating in how it repeats things constantly to make sure you REALLY get it, and that a lot of it could be more brief. But I'm really starting to feel for Ryukishi if the general audience misses the point this hard without all of the protracted hand holding.

Maybe it's my previous experience with Umineko letting me pick up what the story is going for more easily? Because there's a lot of motifs in SHf that feel like they're further explorations of stuff in Ryukishi's past work, so I may just already know what I'm supposed to be focusing in on.

I don't even think it's that. (Spoilers) The number of people I've seen come away from the story thinking it's about something as trivial as "marriage bad" and not understanding how it has more to do with Hinako's struggle with preserving her agency through the outrage of being sold is absurd.

I really wanted to go through SH2 once I've seen all of SHf, but I'm being put off by the fact that its biggest fans seem unable to grasp even the most basic concepts presented by SHf. It's making me afraid that 2 is going to be a massive disappointment if these are the people praising it.

Silent Hill f has made me extremely interested in the rest of the Silent Hill series for the first time in my life.

But god damn, do Silent Hill fans seem to be doing their best to earn the title of the most obnoxiously illiterate people on the planet in every thread about this game.

The way Legends as a series concept was presented was so immediately interesting. Pokemon's most appealing aspect aside from the Pokemon themselves has always been its world building and history, and it's baffling to me that they would just drop that and turn Legends into more of the main series.

It's insane how pretty much every ounce of interest I had in Pokemon Legends ZA has drained since the announcement that it's a sequel and not set in the same time period as Arceus.

I'd like to think she only struck a deal with the governor instead of the president because she was jet lagged as hell by the time she made it to Cali and could not be fucked to cross the rest of the continental U.S. to reach D.C.

Wow. They're even including the original high resolution art for the battle cards. Awesome. I still hope there's an option for the crusty downscaled sprites though. They have DS-era charm to them.
